Updated for comfortable climbing.
3T wasn't going to update their highly acclaimed Ergonova dropbar, especially after receiving unanimous feedback to not change a thing. However, 3T decided to go back to the drawing board after observing their customers spending significant time holding these bars by the corners. This lead to the 3T Superergo LTD Stealth drop bar, which uses ergonomic shaping along the corners for a comfortable climbing position when you're hammering up steep grades for extended periods of time.
This LTD edition represents the top-flight version of the Superergo series, using the lightest possible materials with more sophistication fabrication methods and titanium bolts instead of steel. Weighing only 173 grams (42 cm), the Superergo LTD Stealth Handlebar is one of the lightest carbon bars on the market today. Besides shaving weight, the high modulus carbon fiber is extremely stiff and reliably strong, meaning it'll withstand years of punishment on the road.

- Q & A
Cable housing is really hard to deal with, the turns are too tight and openings are too tight. It keeps crimping housing and makes cables impossible to feed. I think this handlebar was intended for Di2. It's a real headache. I wish I had never gotten this handlebar unless I had Di2.
Great shape but heavier than claimed
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I love the shape. My previous bar is a giant contact SL, variable radius, 70mm reach, 120mm drop. This bar had a longer reach but the same drop. I had my old bars rotated forward so the drops move back to an angle I like. This bar drop radius is already right where I want it without needing to rotate. On the old bar I compromised on the hood placement, no compromise here. I have extensively searched handlebar drop patterns, and this one has everything I personally want. I could do without the flare, but out on the road I don't notice it. My only complaint is that my 38cm bar is much more than the claimed 162g, mine weights in at 176, above their 4% variance. So for the $75 price difference, I paid more only to save only 10g over the claimed weight of the regular model instead of the 24g they claimed. I have no regrets however. They could also make the cable routing holes a little bigger, but I managed.
Is this bar measured at the hoods or at the bar ends. I normally ride with a 40cm bar but due to the flair on these bars don’t know whether to order a 40cm or a 42cm bar.
3T says they now measure hood to hood. But they flare out so a 40cm bar will be 40cm in the hoods and 42cm in the drops.
