Status Helmet

Your little ripper has mastered the trails and is begging you to take them out for some weekends on the lifts, so you'd better add a 100% Status Youth Helmet to the helmet collection so they can stay protected while they get rad on the drops. Featuring the same technology found in the adult-sized Status, the youth version is tailored to better fit young riders for increased comfort and protection.

100% crafts the Status' shell using fiberglass that balances light weight and cost while retaining the strength needed to weather the bumps. It features the same Active Cooling System found in the Aircraft, which 100% claims provides better ventilation than any other downhill helmet on the market, so protection doesn't come at the cost of comfort. A washable, antibacterial liner adds to the comfort with stink-fighting functionality and a soft feel against the skin.

  • Full-face DH helmet designed for young riders
  • Light shell is strong and durable
  • Venting system keeps airflow moving
  • Soft liner and removable cheek pads for comfort
  • Adjustable visor provides shade while blocking branches
  • Compatible with emergency release systems
  • Item #OHP005Z

2 Year Old Loves It!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Fit:
True to size

We got this for our little girl to ride on her electric bike. She was scared of it at first, but after letting her play with it for a couple days (maybe even a week or two lol) she finally wanted to wear it! She wears it all the time now and love that it is keeping her noggin safe.

What is the real difference between the youth and the adult version? I am an adault with a small head and I was wondering if I could use this.
