    One-Track Mind.

You may not have heard of 100% before, but we bet you’ll be hearing a lot more from them in the future. While the Speedcraft may, at first glance, appear to mimic some sport sunglasses from decades past, that resemblance disappears upon further examination. The Speedcraft is a completely modern design that lends itself entirely to function.

The first thing you notice about 100% Speedcraft sunglasses is the single-lens design. Like moto goggles, the single lens is designed to provide the absolutely widest field of vision possible. There’s no interference from an intrusive lens divider. The same is true of the top of the frame, which moves out of the way to increase your vertical field of vision. This is extremely important when you’re in the riding position. It allows you to see what’s ahead without tilting your head way back, which causes stiffness and pain (literally) in the neck.

When you put the Speedcraft on your face, you’ll notice that the lens sits a bit farther from your face than most sunglasses. This design forces a measured amount of air between the lens and your face to prevent fogging. The scoops on the temples augment this function, so your glasses won’t fog, even during a slow grind up Mount Forever. Speaking of arduous climbs, 100% added a Megol hydrophilic nose pad to keep the sunglasses in place. In fact, the more you sweat, the better the glasses cling.

Of course, you probably guessed that the lens is interchangeable. 100% was also kind enough to include an extra lens (low light) with the glasses, as well as an extra nosepiece, a micro-fiber bag, and a molded carrying case.

    Sweet shades but large

These glasses fit really well and hold close to your face. Only down side it they are super big. I went fro the smaller ones. Overall though if you are looking for a bigger pair of glasses, check these out. They will definitely do the job and look good.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

You'll look fast sitting down when you wear these sunnies. They provide goggle-like coverage and the lenses have excellent clarity. Stay on snug, although always a good idea to try on first with your current helmet to make sure there aren't any fit issues. The cinch system on my TLD A-1 helmet was slightly obtrusive for both my Smith Pivlocks and the Speedcrafts, although not enough to notice while riding. I'd recommend getting a pair of the green mirror lenses even if it's an additional purchase; they work in almost all conditions and look great.

I have ridden these on the mountain and road bike, and love them. The full coverage really blocks your eyes from the wind, which is huge for me in cooler weather as my eyes water quite a bit. The only reason for 4 stars is the frames hit my helmet, so I need to be precise in putting them on so the top doesn't hit my eyebrows.

      Mad Coverage

These provide goggle like coverage for your eyeballs, without having to wear goggles. I wore them on the asphalt and in the dirt and loved them. Great fit, not too close to your eyes, they ventilate well, but still blocked the wind, good optical quality, excellent peripheral vision. The spare lens is almost light enough to night ride in, but you would be better off with a clear lens for riding under the stars.

4 stars instead of 5 mainly because the lens is not easy to swap out. In this day and age of quick change lenses, these fell short in that one area. I know a lot of riders that this will not matter for, but for those that do change lenses, or pull their lens to clean it, it is something to keep in mind.
All in all, these offer amazing coverage and eye protection and I highly recommend them.

      Oooh Yeaahhh Macho Man Approved

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

If Randy Savage rode mountain bikes he would have worn these while ripping berms and snapping Slim Jims. The gigantic shield provides clear optics and an incredible field of vision. A second low light lens is included in addition to a case, bag and extra nose piece.

      Retro Looks w/ Goggle Vision

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Not Google Vision, Goggle Vision. I'm referencing the up and down field of vision that the 100% SpeedCraft Sport Sunglasses has which is its greatest quality. How I can get into a lower position and still see through the very top of my field of vision has minimized my reaction time on descents. The side to side vision is great as well and the lenses remain relatively anit-fog while giving you both a grey and clear that will match most conditions.

There are a few gripes though. I've tried both nosepieces and as a contact lens wearer the wind does come up in certain way to dry them out really quickly (I know I know, I need to get lasik). Also, when it comes to the look, it is fantastic with a helmet on but looks a bit clunky at the apres pub after the helmet is off.

A really great option if you are in for a high performance, ride only sunglass and don't have finicky contact lenses.

If you want to look as fast as you are, you need these. The large lense allows the rider to see EVERYTHING, vertically and peripherally. I have been using these for about a month and I really love how the sit off my face just a bit so my face/eye can "breathe". With my previous glasses I could only wear them while descending because they fogged and blocked all air to my eye region while climbing, these can stay put over my eyes at all times. They are amazing all around.

Where can I get a clear lens for these? Can't seem to find anyone selling them.
