Excellent well ventilated hiking boot
The anacapa breeze mid is exactly what I was hoping for. I hike in Southern California, so for a significant portion of my year Goretex simply gets too sweaty to be comfortable. At the same time, I prefer the feeling of a boot to the exposed ankles of a trail runner. This is the perfect balance for me. The anacapa breeze mid stays cool in the sun, it feels stable and has kept its grip on any incline or terrain I've traversed in it. My feet stay dry throughout a long hike in the San gabriels I truly hope they never stop making these because I probably won't wear any other boots when the sun is out

Not a solid hiking boot.
The tread on these boots is very good, unfortunately the stability of the boot. Itself is poor. I would not recommend this boot for anyone looking to hike/walk on hilly terrain.

Perfect on Standing
I'm on my feet all day and the shoes are comfortable and breathable. Shoe laces are not that great! But overall comfort. Will recommend to others!

I would not purchase these again.
After having these less than two weeks, they have started squeaking and already wearing down. They are not holding up. I have been wearing them around my property to try to get used to them and did not even get the opportunity to use them on a hiking trail. I consistently purchase HOKA running shoes and was very excited to get these in hopes they lived up to my expectations of my running shoes. Unfortunately, they did not. Do not buy them.

Salomon to Hoka
Long time Salomon fan. Switched to hokas as an experiment. Out the gate the shoes are comparatively lighter. Are they more durable, I'm not sure yet. I'm a land surveyor so hiking is a daily activity usually with heavy gear and several miles.

Comfortable but didn't last
Bought these shoes for my postal walking job. Tread on sole didn't last month and half.

Would buy again
Very well made boot. Sturdy and very comfortable. Sole of the boot is sturdy and good even on concrete flooring. Lightweight and experience few days of fatigue considering wearing them for 12hrs a day. Definitely will buy another pair.

Comfortable, but looking for something a little more durable
The boots had the typical comfort that I enjoy in Hoka shoes, though they were a bit too narrow. Also, I was going to be wearing them off-trail in some rough terrain and I didn't think they would endure walking through sagebrush. Because of the narrow fit and the uncertain toughness of the material, I returned them.
