Just OK

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
Medium
Height:
5' 11"
Weight:
160

Bought for a backcountry gravel/bouldering bike tour in the Alps. I normally wear lycra but wanted something a little tougher for resistance against brush and rock abrasion. They served that purpose well. The fabric has enough stretch that I what might feel kind of tight would actually be fine. @ 5'11" / 160lb, size M was a little baggy at the waist but the addition of a belt resolved that problem. I wish the legs were an inch or two longer. My expectation was they would cover my knees while pedaling but that is not the case; they tend to ride up to mid knee cap, exposing the skin to both scrapes and the cold. The bungee cord leg cuff cinch straps are a nice touch but it is difficult to set them while wearing the trousers because the spring clamp is tucked inside a protective pocket. That's a good thing because it protects against chaffing. The pockets could be larger. I use my phone for back-up maps and a large-screen device is that much more useful for this reason. It is a very snug fit to get my large-ish phone into the leg pocket and to close the zipper. The rear pockets need extra security like a zipper and/or velcro flap. I took mine to a local seamstress/tailor to have flaps added. Otherwise, I wouldn't even consider using the pockets. So principally - deeper, protected pockets and longer legs and these would be perfect.

Zoic Knickers-Great fit great design

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
Large
Height:
6' 4"
Weight:
168

Just got there Zoic knickers and at fort I wasn?t sure I?d like these....maybe outside my more traditional senses. But these are great!! I would rather ride with shorts but cool air on the legs and knees pretty much put a damper on this until May in Central Illinois. I was getting of tired of the thermal full length riding pants on these coolish days and these knickers nailed it. Highly recommend these. I bought Large. I?m 6?4? 168 lbs and generally wear 32x34 or 32x36 Levi?s jeans if that gives you perspective. They are slightly loose in a Large but not too loose..but not wear they fall off. So i would say the size gauge was accurate.
