Get specific.

The Navaeh Women's Bike Shorts are specifically designed with that extra protection in mind, and they are some of the few freeride-style shorts on the market designed just for women.

The main body of the Navaeh Shorts is constructed from stretch fabric that won’t bind your movements. But this isn’t a form-fitting cut; the shorts feature a Fusion gusset inseam and enough length in the thighs to cover knee pads. The waist adjustments ensure a perfect fit and they are secured with a zip and double-snap closure. The fabric is also knit to help pull moisture to the surface where it evaporates to keep you dry while you ride. They come with four pockets for your ride essentials and a dedicated media pocket for your tunes.

While you might not equate mountain biking to chamois liners, Navaeh knows that you still want comfort and cushion, even on the trails. Its ZO-Tech liner is a multi-level, stretch chamois that keeps your sit bones comfortably supported. Even better, the entire liner is removable so that you’re able to wear the shorts straight to the post-ride brewpub.

  • Removable ZO-Tech chamois
  • Multiple pockets
  • Adjustable waist

Don't bother

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

So...the outer shorts really are nice. I own an earlier version and wore them til I blew the seems out. These fit larger than that pair in the outer short. Inner chamois band around the thigh is stupid tight and since the outer shorts are thin it is very visible when wearing both. I bought a M and I am 5'4 and 130 with muscular (mtn biking ) thighs. If you are willing to pay 70$ for just a pair of thin stretchy shorts than these are great but if you want a wearable chamois with said shorts then don't bother its not worth the price because you will have to purchase a separate chamois. I don't understand the HUGE disparity between men and women's mtn bike shorts! Functionality is totally lost for "style" and even that is lacking with such a short chamois inseam to outer short length and rise in the waist.

Lightweight, stretchy

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 6"
    Weight: 132 lbs
    Size Purchased: Medium

These are made of a really thin, stretchy material. I haven't crashed in them yet, but they fit well. I'm a curvy 5'6" between 130 and 135 lbs and the medium fit well. I like that the waist is high enough to not slide down during rides. It's really hard to find good shorts!

Great shorts!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 3"
    Weight: 115 lbs
    Size Purchased: XS

These shorts are made of a lightweight, comfortable material that moves with you. I am 115lb. have narrow hips and the XS fits perfectly. The chamois is a little thin, but I just wear a thicker one when I go on longer rides. Shorts look great on and off the bike!

Don't buy the hype

The liner is great but the shorts themselves look really cute but we're not built to last. The second time I wore them was in a race and I blew out several seams after a gentle crash. Not worth the money. Maybe it's time to buy men's shorts cause they seem to be better built.

Nice short - Good Value - Fit small

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Height: 5' 2"
    Weight: 140 lbs
    Size Purchased: Medium

Got these today, have to return them cuz they are skin tight :(. Usually a medium in women's bottoms, but these fit more like a small. Material is nice as is chammy. Hope the larges fit.

Live in these!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I highly recommend these shorts for cycling, walking, hanging out. So comfortable and have great cargo pockets for storing my iPhone, keys, wallet, you name it. Nice stretch so no chaffing or discomfort in movement. On top of all that they have a flattering cut. Love the removable liner. Not really thick but good enough and it doesn't feel awkward when you are off
the bike and walking.

Great MTB Shorts! I would buy many pairs

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These shorts are comfortable and flattering. I like that they have many pockets and are slightly stretchy. Another feature I like about these shorts is that the chamois is removable, so you can wear bibs or other chamois shorts underneath. The chamois that is included is quite comfortable; it provides cushioning in the sit bone area and does not rub against soft tissue. However, the material of the chamois short is thin, thinner than a bib or short you would wear alone.

Overall these shorts appear to be high quality, as I have crashed a few times in them without any tearing, and are extremely comfortable! I highly recommend them.

Nice, but wish they came without chamois

Wish Zoic made a chamois-free version of these shorts, as the outside shorts are good, but the liner not so much. I would remove the liner and just wear a higher quality Pearl Izumi or other chamois. Higher rise in the front than other shorts. I like the long inseam. I'm a size 4 in pants/shorts, and wear a Small in these Zoic shorts.

Favorite MTB Shorts

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Love, love, love these shorts! I have tried several brands of baggie MTB shorts, and these are by far my favorite. All the other ones I've tried are very dumpy looking. These shorts have a very flattering cut, are super soft and breathable, and have just enough stretch to make them comfy for riding. Plenty of secure pockets, which is rare in a women's MTB short. The size chart is very accurate for these shorts (I typically wear a medium in most brands, and was a medium in this as well). Will definitely get more in other colors to get me through the season.

Comfortable, utilitarian

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I really like these shorts. Love the removable chamois lining. Love that it has so many pockets with water-resistant zipper. Women's gear often lacks men's in that we don't have many pockets, but this one has 'em. It also fits better than the pictures make it look. it doesn't wing out at the hips like that. It also fits really well. Not too baggy in the butt. i've tried some on that makes it look like I'm wearing some diaper. Chamois is comfortable. I like the length, too. Hits me just above the knee (I'm 5'2" 120 lbs). I got a size XS and love the fit. Even better that it's on sale!

Great Shorts both on and off the trail!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought these for my wife. Her review: Wonderful shorts plus great liner--what a great deal. Love the stretchy fabric that dries quickly. Lots of pockets that you can actually use. They fit great and look good. I love them so much I just wear them around the house. The liner can easily be worn with other pants so this set is very versatile! Highly recommended to all of my friends.
