Using technology to stay ahead of the peloton.
Countless cycling apparel companies are manufacturing road jerseys, but you can count on the folks at Zero RH+ to stake their claim with technology worthy of the space program. Don't be confused, however–this isn't technology for technology's sake. Every element of the PW Dryskin Jersey has been thoroughly examined–from the high-tech main body fabric to the rounded back of the collar–to make this jersey work better.
The big story here is Zero RH+'s Dryskin fabric. It's shuttle woven instead of using the traditional charmeuse technique, and absolutely no stitching is required because the seams are welded. This eliminates the chafing and irritation caused by overlapping seams. Dryskin is offered in two densities–an ultralight version for jerseys for enhanced breathability and a dual-density material for shorts and bibs that offers enhanced muscle support. This four-way stretch material is 35% lighter than traditional fabrics. It's moisture-wicking and breathable, as well as abrasion- and wear-resistant, and provides exceptional aerodynamics.
The PW Dryskin Full-Zip Jersey is made using a technique of
preformed anatomic construction. This provides a comfortable, natural
fit, especially in the riding position. All seams, even those for the zipper and zipper garage, are welded,
rather than stitched, to eliminate chafing and irritation. Zero RH+ also
laser-cut additional ventilation holes that allow air to pass through
without any irritating seams. The rear of the collar has been rounded to cause less irritation on the neck when you're deep in the drops, with your head tilted up. Four rear pockets, including a zipped security pocket, take care of your valuables. Zero RH+ finished off the jersey with reflective elements that make you more visible in traffic.
The Zero RH+ PW Dryskin Full-Zip Jersey comes in sizes Small through XX-Large and is available in the colors Black, Black/white, or Orange.
