Fortunately, we're long past the days of street wear winter jackets being passed off as winter cycling jackets. This is due in part to the truly fanatical innovators in cycling apparel, and not surprisingly, Italy plays host to the majority of them. And one of the leaders in bringing 21st century technology into apparel is the Paruzzaro-based Zero RH+. Just take one look at its new keystone jacket, the Key-One Jacket, and you'll experience the physical form of progressive ideology.

Starting at the front of the body, Zero RH+ used the ultralight Airdry Gold 250 fabric for its construction. As you might expect from its name, this material is completely windproof, and accordingly, it staves off the main source of winter chills -- headwind. As for the second principle of this fabric, the dry, Airdry Gold 250 uses a three-layer, open knit construction that maintains a high-level of breathability. Essentially, the fabric creates an internal micro climate that's unique to you. So, during intense aerobic exercise, the material allows excess heat to escape from the insulation layer. And not only does this keep your temperature well regulated, it also decreases moisture accumulation as well. For breathability, the front of the jacket also utilizes Zero RH+'s Air Through technology. This system selectively allows passage of air through the jacket for a refreshing sensation that also accelerates vapor evaporation.

For added breathability, the rear and side panels of the jacket have been constructed from the Airdry Gold 200 fabric. This material is highly insulating, stretchable, and soft -- all qualities that enhance the jacket's impeccable fit. And on this note, this is where Zero RH+ really shines. The body and sleeves of the jacket have been pre-shaped and stitched on a contour of an anatomic form. This means that the cut has been coordinated to the predictability of your body's movements. So, when you move, the jacket moves with you, not against your skin. And to further ensure this, the Key-One jacket features stretch panels at heavy points of articulation. Additionally, the jacket features Kinesio applications on the chest, sleeves, and back to add a slight proprioceptive compression. However, while the compressive gains are minimal, the applications' contribution to fit is drastic. And to secure the fit are Zero RH+'s proprietary grippers at the front and rear hem. These provide a delicate, yet effective hold that ensure the jacket's stability while you're moving in and out of the saddle.

To provide extra visibility to motorists in low-light conditions, the jacket features reflective accents throughout. And to store your ride essentials, Zero RH+ included three ample-sized rear pockets and one rear zippered security pocket. Additionally, the jacket's zipper utilizes a self-locking slider and is protected from drafts by a zipper garage a the neck.

The Zero RH+ Key-One Jacket is available in six sizes from Small to XXX-Large and in the colors Black/white and White/black/red.

The description says race fit, but the picture looks like a looser style. I'm looking for something not too tight (not slim/contour fit). Can you explain a little more about the fit?
