Wear your favorite running socks and still benefit from compression technology.

Slide the Zensah Ultra Compression Leg Sleeves over your favorite performance socks and improve your muscle performance over a long run or bike ride. Compression material gently squeezes your calf muscles to improve oxygenated blood flow and support those muscles while you go the distance. This Ultra Compression Sleeve provides more compression and support for stressed shins than the regular Zensah Compression Sleeve.

    • Compression construction promotes blood flow and oxygen transfer to your muscles
    • Graduated compression provides more compression at your ankle and less compression as you move up toward the sleeve opening
    • Chevron pattern mimics taping used by athletic trainers to alleviate shin splints
    • Synthetic Zensah material dries quickly, wicks moisture, and feels smooth against your skin
    • Material features a silver-ion treatment that repels the bacteria that causes funky odors
    • Seamless construction eliminates seam bulges that would otherwise chafe against your skin
    • Non-elastic opening keeps the top of this sleeve from feeling too restrictive

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

Bought two pairs of the ultra comp sleeve because the regular comp sleeves weren't cutting it. They fit as everyone has suggested, very tight with some difficulty to take off. They provide the support you need especially if you're running distance runs of 10 plus miles. The heather grey pair fit tight but provided the support you need. The blue pair were tough to put on and to take off. Additionally they were almost cutting the circulation to my feet during training runs.
Wore the heather grey pair to run my first 50 mile ultra marathon in the Colossal Vail 50/50 - Vail, AZ and these things along with a pair of Zensa compression arm sleeve, CW-X Ventilator Tri Shorts, and 3 pair of Injinji trail running socks (all purchased from Backcountry), kept me going like a champ and was able to finish the 53.8 miles. Minimal soreness on the following day but none on the shins, calves and none on the thighs or back due to the great support from the CWX shorts.
Definitely recommend this product but will also advise to find what works for your training needs. Buying all these products can get costly, however investing and experimenting with what works to help support your body and feet is definitely worth it. Also, washing and caring for all these products as recommended will help you get more life out of them.
    Hope this was helpful.
Thank you BC (backcountry) for the variety of products, deals and awesome shipping : )

I used these for the first time tonight, so I will have an updated review after I have used them for a while later on.
The first time I pulled these out of the packaging, I looked at them, and thought... well this is going to take a while. And I am not going to lie, it did. They are not kidding when they say ULTRA compression. These things have some awesome compression to them, which is great, once you get them on.

That being said, I have a very wide foot, and overly huge calves which have always been my nemesis growing up. So that is probably why it was harder to get them on. But I'm sure over time, it will gradually get easier, and I will find a way to put them on faster (any tips out there?), like I said, this was my first time using them tonight.

Now on to how they feel while wearing them. They feel awesome! Man, these are high quality! They have incredible compression, and really help your shins out. I get horrible shin splints while running, and this really helps them feel great while running, and post work out as well. I think over time, these will become my best workout partners.

Overall, I really like these compression sleeves so far! They do run true to size so just follow the size chart above and you'll be set, they are just tight to get on... but really, what compression sleeve isn't going to be? Just think of it as your warm up ;)

    Well made

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs small

Bought these for my daughter, She has 13" calves which falls in between the measurements of a small and med. I ordered the small and it took both of us struggling to get them on. I returned the small an ordered a med which fit much better

    Game changer

I strained my calves a couple years ago after charging into training too aggressively. They have been a plague for me ever since and my calves are a constant limiter as I try to increase my mileage. Tried these puppies out and I'm back on track. I can now increase my training without limping around and constantly backtracking on my schedule. Ladies love the pink!

P.S. - I was right on the cusp between medium and small and sized down - they fit great and very effective
