Pinpoint compression to help your calf muscles perform.

A professional athletic trainer developed the Zensah Compression Leg Sleeves so you can run fast and recover faster. Compression material gently squeezes your calves to help encourage the flow of oxygenated blood through your muscles. This increase in blood flow helps your legs feel more efficient and powerful during activity, and it helps your muscles feel less sore and fatigued afterward.

  • Compression construction promotes blood flow and oxygen transfer to your muscles
  • Graduated compression provides more compression at your ankle and less compression as you move up toward the top of the sleeve
  • Synthetic Zensah material dries quickly, wicks moisture, and feels smooth against your skin
  • Material features a silver-ion treatment that repels the bacteria that causes funky odors
  • Seamless construction eliminates seam bulges that would otherwise chafe against your skin
  • Non-elastic opening keeps the top of these sleeves from feeling too restrictive

Not bad.

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I have had a pair of these for something like 4 years, and they're pretty good. I have skinny legs, so compression has in the past not really made a huge difference for me, these included. These are really not that compressing, which sort of defeats the purpose of wearing them. They're okay, though, and easy to put on and take off. I went with some cep run full length socks in a size III and those things are great. But these work for plenty of other people I know and run with, they're just not great for me. Durability is unquestionable, however, and have survived 4 years of abuse and washings every week.

Legs Fresh After Hard Day of Training

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

I've always looked around at all the new gear and contraptions that many athletes and recreation users are wearing and said, "That'll never be me."

After hearing that the compression sleeves will help in recovery from cycling and long, steep and hard training hikes I thought I'd give them a try last year.

I started out with a pair that were in my size but didn't notice much difference from wearing my hiking socks, so I went down a size and the results were very noticeable. I don't wear these when actually being active, but throw them on at the end of the day and wear them throughout my sleep. I noticed my legs were much fresher the next day and I didn't need that extra day of rest from fatigued leg muscles.

I have problems with swollen ankles and legs. Do these compression leg sleeves work as well as the compression knee high kind or is it best to wear the knee highs with toe & heel in?

Responded on

It really depends on the fit. Sounds medical, if it is, go with the extended sock and not just the calf and shin.

Not as much compression as other brands

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these in a S/M for my 14.5" calves. They were the first brand of compression sleeves I tried and the compression is ok, but they mostly just feel like tall socks. I wore them a handful of times after long training runs before deciding to try another brand and found the other brand to squeeze my calves so much more! (in a good way). To be honest, I haven't worn the Zensah ones since. I don't know that I should size down in Zensah for more compression because XS goes up to 12.5" which is a full 2" smaller than my calves.

Responded on

While not available on BC, I find ProCompression products (sleeves and socks) to offer much more compression than Zensah in the same size. However, Zensah recently introduced an "ultra compression" sleeve which they advertise offers more support than their original product; I have not tried it.

awesome compression sleeves!

would definitely recommend this brand for running compression! these really helped with fatigue and ache after a good run. they were super snug when first wearing them but break in very nicely and are a great pick up!

Best compression sleeves!

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Definitely recommend Zensah! I was skeptical to try compression at first but now that I have tried them I will never look back. These sleeves help alleviate my shin splints and helped me to train for my first marathon. And the cute colors make them even better :)
