Fitz Roy GTX RR Moutaineering Boot

Zamberlan designed its Men's Fitz Roy GTX RR Mountaineering Boot to provide all the insulation, protection, and support you need to conquer high-alpine terrain. It's a lightweight boot, at well under four pounds per pair, and it utilizes a Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane for guaranteed waterproof protection and alpine-caliber warmth. Zamberlan mixed MicroFibre with Superfabric and bombproof Cordura to keep the upper light and incredibly durable, because nothing will bog down your expedition like ankle-weight-style boots that also fall apart on the climb. To boost durability even further, Zamberlan built in a full rubber rand that encompasses your foot for extra protection and keeps this boot in excellent condition for a long time.

Underneath your foot, the Fitz Roy incorporates a semi Pro Crampon System—basically a TPU heel wedge—that allows easy compatibility with hybrid crampons. Its dual-density PU wedge optimizes cushioning by staying soft in impact areas and hard everywhere else for more support, and the Vibram Mulaz Evo outsole has a large contact area at the toe for better climbing, grip, and durability. The sole's big grooves reduce debris build-up, and the large, multidirectional lugs offer fantastic traction for many years. Zamberlan undercut the heel, which keeps your foot from sliding forward when you're moving downhill, and built the whole package on its ZTech technical fit last, which is snug but comfortable to provide precision without crushing your toes.
