When was the last time you saw a mountain goat slip and fall? Exactly. With Zamberlan's Expert Ibex GTX RR Men's Winter Hiking Boot, you'll be as sure footed as its namesake, courtesy of a grippy Vibram Teton sole, and as comfortable as it's possible to be in tough alpine terrain. The upper is made of smooth, water-resistant Hydrobloc Perwanger suede and lined with a Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort membrane, so snow, water, and mud won't penetrate and soak your socks no matter how long you're out in it. An extra layer of Duratherm insulation keeps your toes from getting cold, too.
Long days on the go take a toll on your feet, so Zamberlan hooked the Ibex up with a cushy PU footbed and PCS TPU midsole, which cushion impacts and provide large doses of stability on rugged ground. The ZTech Technical Fit last works with the classic laces to hug your foot, helping prevent blisters and discomfort, and the high rubber rand protects your foot from rock strikes and general wear and tear. Last but not least, Zamberlan included TPU welts on the toe and heel for easy crampon wearing, so you'll be able to conquer snowy and icy terrain like it's no big deal.
