The lightweight Zamberlan Women's Cairn Mid GTX RR Hiking Boot is great for rigorous hikes and overnight backpacking trips. Its Gore-Tex Performance Comfort lining provides guaranteed waterproofing while maintaining breathability, and Zamberlan coated the durable nabuk leather upper with Hydrobloc for extra water-resistance. Vibram's StarTrek sole includes multi-directional lugs for traction on technical terrain, large grooves for self-cleaning, an undercut heel for secure braking, and contact areas at the toe and heel for better grip on steep terrain.
The Cairn's midsole features a low-density PU wedge for shock-absorption without the weight. Zamberlan also added a TPU insert at the front of the heel for enhanced stability and an EVA insert at the back of the heel for a comfortable amount of support. Rubber wraps around the boot for added protection, and speed hooks help you lace up and cruise up trails quickly.
