ARC Carbon Mountain Bike Frame - 2016

Though it's rolling out a new model year of its ARC Carbon Mountain Bike Frame, Yeti keeps the big-wheel versatility intact. Like its predecessor, the 2016 ARC Carbon democratizes wheel sizes by offering a 29er platform for sizes Medium through X-Large and a 27.5in wheel size in X-Small and Small. Even the shortest riders can now benefit from Yeti's big wheel racing pedigree.

As with previous ARCs, the wheel size transformation act comes courtesy of shorter chainstays and a lower bottom bracket and standover height on the smaller sizes. These dimension shifts keep the handling snappy for 27.5in wheels so the ride feels consistent from sizes X-Small to X-Large.

Yeti still applies its carbon knowledge to the ARC, which results in a significantly lower weight than the legendary Big Top that the original ARC replaced. The monocoque design improves the frame's structural integrity by eliminating joints and seams, and the tapered head tube and 142mm thru-axle spacing improve stiffness at both ends for sharper tracking and more efficient mashing. The looptail rear triangle is configured with posts for disc brakes, and the geometry is tuned for 100-120mm of fork travel. The 73mm bottom bracket is finished ISCG mounts to babysit your chain while you're focused on beating unruly trail furniture into submission.
