Before you load your 50-pound pack onto your back and get onto the rocky trail, make sure you have the Yaktrax Stable Trax Insoles in your hiking boots. The Stable Trax Insoles have a dual-density heel plate and a deep heel cup to give you stability. Padding in the area where the ball of your foot and heel strike absorbs shock. Yaktrax put Hydrologix fabric above an open-cell foam layer to wick moisture away from your feet so they stay dry, because dry feet are less likely to develop blisters.
Bottom Line: Get support on your backpacking trip from the Yaktrax Stable Trax Insoles.
Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

yeah, i read such good reviews for yaktrax that i was convinced enough to buy a pair, and i regret to say that they are uncomfortable for my feet. i couldn't even bear wearing them for any amount of time, i swapped them in and out of several pairs of my trail and hiking shoes...and there was no relief. i think i agree with "clydesdale"...superfeet has more relief for people with high arches...i was bummed to say the least. they were painful to have in my boots.
Change me.

FootbedsBetter than stock insoles
These do the job. Have only used them twice in my ski boots but are better than the stock ones. I really wish they didn't have that bubble right in more...
