    Walk in water.

The Yaktrax Streamtrekkers Crampon is another weapon in your upright arsenal when fast-moving streams and slippery river rocks threaten to drench your fishing fun. Waders, boots, or designated wet tennis shoes work well with this crampon, although you just may need a few different sizes to accommodate all of your footwear. The rubber frame is easy to put on and easy to take off so you're not clicking and clacking your way to or from the car. Steel cables hold the Diamond Beads in place; these beatific beads have hundreds of biting edges for 360-degrees of grip. Whether you're walking along mossy lakeshores, over slimy river rocks, or some combination thereof, the Streamtrekker gives you a firm grip on the ground so you don't end up being up close and personal with your prey.

These angling crampons are easy to clean, which minimizes the transportation and spread of invasive or destructive species.

    Have questions about this product?

Couldn't ask for a better crampon

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I take these ice fishing all over Northern Utah, and I know I can trust them to give me traction on even the most slippery ice. I've yet to have them fail on me, and they've had a pretty rigorous time of it too.

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

My father is getting up there in years and isn't as sure on his feet as he used to be. I purchased these for him as cheap insurance after he took a nasty fall that led to a hospital visit. We tested them out one cold morning on the Madison and they worked very well. Super impressed that they stayed in place all day long. Seemed to work on wet rock, mud, and wet grass.

can't tell from the photo, but is there a top strap to hold them on?

These look very similar to the "Ice Trekkers Diamond Grip." Would these Streamtrekkers work as well in the snow as those?

    Hey joep473901,

The Ice Trekkers Diamond Grip and the Yaktrax Streamtrekkers are actually the *exact* same product! In fact they are both owned by the same company. So if you're confident with the Diamond Grips, then the Streamtrekkers would work for you too!

Is there an appreciable difference between wading in the Streamtrekkers and the good old fashioned Yaktrax Walkers?

    Hey elip58472,

The Streamtrekkers are going to have a different crampon design than the Walkers. The Streamtrekkers have a studded bottom that will provide more traction that the coils found on the

    Walkers.
