Very Solid

Great box, it stays steady driving into high winds. Its easy to put on and take off and can hold all the essentials, as well as everything else you could possibly want to take with you.

Easy to install. Roomy. Love it.

Fits perfectly on my 2012 Subaru Outback and was very easy to install. Fits lots, and looks sharp. Delivered very quickly and I am very happy with it. Highly recommended.

Will the skybox 18 fit factory crossbars on my 2011 Mercedes R350?

    The Sky is the Limit!

Well, technically 18 cubic feet is the limit... but you get the point, right? My car already looks like a box, so I decided to put another box on top. It holds everything I have ever needed it to. 5-6 Snowboards and boots in the winter, way more camping gear than you'd ever need in the summer and since my Honda Element only has 4 seats on the interior, this bad boy can be used to put an extra passenger in. I don't think Yakima would support this statement, but they sure did make enough room for it! Getcha' some!

I have a 2009 Saturn Outlook. Will the sky box 18 fit without interfering with the rear antenna or rear hatch? Also, is there a benefit to using Yakima crossbars instead of factory crossbars?

I don't know about the fit issues but Yakima bars typically have a higher load weight than most factory systems.

Will the Sky Box 18 Fit on a Honda Pilot with factory crossbars without interfereing with the rear hatch?

The Skybox 18 will fit fine for the type of car but depending on the year of your Honda, you will need to purchase Yakima rail system as the box will not mount to the factory rails...

Any problems fitting the Yakima Sky Box...

Any problems fitting the Yakima Sky Box 18 on a 2010 Subaru Forester with factory aero bars

Absolutely not! The 'clamps' that attach the box to the vehicle are made specifically to work with aero bars. Using a 'quick-release' mechanism, you will find putting on and taking off of the box is extremely simple (other than the weight of the box). When putting it on your car, make sure the rear of the box won't interfere with the opening of your car's rear door. The clamps are adjustable fore and aft.

You can open it from either side, comes with lock cores, the unique opening latch, and the lid 'trusses' makes this the best box money can buy (I also love that the clamp's quick-release mechanism inside the box doesn't get in the way near as much as Thule's boxes).

Box fits really well, front is right over the edge of the windshield, the box is centered over the stationary Yakima racks and the rear is well in front of the rear gate of the vehicle.
