Does the Yakima Q Towers come with Roof Rack Feet for your Naked Roof?

They come with pads, stickers to protect the paint, but not with the Q-clips that have to be specific to your vehicle.

I really like the round bar of the Yakima racks because there are a lot of after-market companies that make compatible accessories and it allows certain accessories like the kayak and front bike wheel holders to be pushed down when not in use. We do not have the faring so it is a little loud but not loud enough to get the faring.

Yes, if you select the correct feet. Yakima's website has a great tool that helps you figure out what you need.
Solid Towers

The Q Towers are solid and hold Yakima round load bars securely. You can install these and forget about them until the next time you need to move your rack. Be sure to pick up the correct Q Clips for your vehicle and some locks.

Great so far, just make sure you follow the instructions and do the correct measurements. This is the only rack that will fit a 2010 VW Tiguan. Looks Great, couldn't be happier. Get the Fairing it will save you lots of wind noise.

If you have a naked roof, the Q Towers will work with your Tundra - either 2dr or 4dr, it will work on both.

Really Impressed

Installed these in about an hour and a half on my '00 Maxima. Really impressed by how sturdy they feel. Yakima really did their homework. The rubber pads between the tower and my car should do a decent job of keeping dirt and scratches away.
5 stars not because they're the perfect rack system, but because they work incredibly well on a car not designed for a rack. Obviously roof rails are better, but if you're rocking the naked roof, these should do the job :)

According to Yakima's website and their "Rack Finder"...there are no Q-clips for your vehicle. They may or may not make them in the future. As for the Q towers - there is only one kind, the Q-clips make them fit individual vehicles. But depending on what you have on the top of your car (totally naked or something up there)...you might find something else that would work. I'd check out Yakima.com or give them a call.

I have the older 105 q towers and have to switch vehicles which requires a stretch kit. I have figured out at I need the 1106 stretch, but it is hard to find. Is it the same as the SST stretch, it seems to have the same model number 1106. Wasn't sure if the SST stretch will work on the 105 towers

I own both and find both equally well built. With either you need to purchase accessories to manage the gear and Load Stoppers are a base minimum if you intend to use them for anything generic. I use the racks for camping gear as well as hauling home project lumber and such. They have never let me down. I have more extensive experience with the the Yakima system and like the round bars as gear is easy to move as it slides freely on the round bars until it is tied down.

Used these with the Fatcat6's on my Mazdaspeed6 for several months. The whole package works as it should, but aesthetically it's somewhat unappealing compared to competitor's offerings.
