Carry two bikes without a hitch.

Forget hauling bikes in a truck bed or hitch-mounted rack with the sleekly designed Yakima KingJoe Pro 2 Bike Rack. This trunk/hatch-mounted rack features a QuickTrigger II hub system for easy installation and fitment with a wide variety of vehicles, ranging from sedans to hatchbacks and SUVs. Oversized padded feet and coated metal buckles prevent unsightly scratches on your vehicle, while included glass hooks fit a wide variety of hatchbacks, wagons, and SUVs.

The rack's StableCradles safely carry two of your favorite bikes within their narrow arm design and secure-fastening rubber straps. In the event that you need to carry a bike with a sloping top tube or minimal clearance (i.e. beach cruisers and rear-suspension mountain bikes), Yakima offers a separate Tube Top that secures under the seatpost clamp and stem. Moreover, you'll find the bike-carrying arms conveniently fold-up when you're not using the rack, remedying clearance issues when you're backing up and parking with the rack attached. As if that's not enough, Yakima included a built-in bottle opener for enjoying a few beverages with friends after your ride.

  • QuickTrigger II hub system fits a wide range of vehicles (check with Yakima's fit guide)
  • Oversized padded feet, coated metal buckles, glass hatch hooks included
  • StableCradles with secure-fastening rubber straps
  • Arms fold-up when not in use
  • Integrated bottle opener

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This rack is great, gets the job done and keep the bikes safe. It for sure does not fit all mountain bikes so be careful buying this I ride a Santa Cruz Superlite and there is no way to fandangle my bike to fit on this thing. On the other hand, my husband rides a Tallboy and his bike fits great.

Great Rack!

I just got home from a 2k+ mile road trip from Chicago to New Orleans, with this bike rack strapped to the back of a 2012 Ford Escape rental car (SUV Crossover). Rack held up strong, i traveled with 1 road bike mounted. No Flapping, bouncing, or any issues.

This is the first bike rack i've ever owned, it mounted up quickly and did no damage to the Escape. I will be putting this on my wife's Subaru Forester soon!

Free shipping and excellent customer service from Back Country, you can't beat it.

I have two 36 pound bikes. Will this unit work with my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee? Thanks

From the Yakima website, this rack will take bikes up to 45 lbs. The KingJoe Pro 3 will take bikes up to 30 lbs. Looks like either 2 or 3 bike version will accommodate 90 lbs. total.

I have a 2009 Honda CRV and am having a problem finding a trunk bike rack. Will the King Joe work? Also, I have a Trek WSD road bike and need to know if the arms are narrow so they will work on this bike.

This one works on most SUVs, so it should be fine on there. I also think it will work fine with the top tube on your bike. If not, though, the Top Tube Frame Adapter will work wonders.

Is this compatible with small kid's bikes? If not is the trunk easily accessible while in use?

You can put kids bikes on basically any trunk rack, from the cheap walmart racks to the nice Yakima one you see here. The trunk, however, isn't that easy to access when you have bikes on top of it with any trunk rack..
