Thanks to the Yakima HullyRollers, you no longer need a crane or the neighbors to help you load your kayak. The HullyRollers make it simple to slide your boat onto your car's roof. Simply place the bow or stern of your kayak onto the U-shaped pair of rollers and push your boat on up there—the Dynaflex rollers pivot for convenient loading angles. You need the Yakima Mako Saddles (sold separately) to complete this safe, secure, and simple boat-transporting package. To bolster stability, Yakima threw in a heavy duty strap with padded buckles and a pair of bow/stern tie-down straps. The HullyRollers fit square and round crossbars and work with factory crossbars with MightyMounts (sold separately).
Bottom Line: The Yakima HullyRollers make loading your kayak a cinch.

Write your question here... I can't find a stable (i.e., metal) place on the rear of my 2003 outback for the stern tie-down for my kayak. After some time, we did finally find one on the front between two "plastic" cross pieces on the bumper. Anyone have a suggestion?

The hully rollers are awesome, they let me slide my boat onto my big van with just one person. they lock and are very grippy so your boat is not going anywhere! these are a great investment.
i have a dodge durango w/ no factory rack would i need to buy

You will need Mighty Mount 14H to be able to connect this to your Outback's rack. If you hit the configure rack link above, you will be able to see everything you will need to be able to be compatible with the HullyRoller.

I was wondering if anyone knew if the Yakima Hullyrollers canoe/kayak racks are compatible with a 2003 mazda tribute?
I have a 2009 Subaru Outback, a wilderness systems kayak, and

theres no reason why it wouldn't. this is only the HullyRollers not the mounting bar. so yes it would work on a 2003 mazda tribute as long as you already have a rack on it.
