The Yakima BoatLocker secures a kayak, or other boats, and a paddle to your vehicle. Yakima wants you to be able to use your gear for years to come. Their new BoatLocker system uses a flexible 10 ft locking cable and PaddleCuff (patent pending) to keep your paddle and kayak in place when not in use.

Bottom Line: Now you don't have to worry about your toys staying where you left them.

Havn't used other boat locks before but this one works. Left my boat on the car overnight in several places and it was there in the morning. No significant problems with the lock during highway driving.
