Luckily, that's not the case as the lightweight silver is woven into the footbed using X-Socks' Sinofit technology, which fights odor and bacteria like crazy. You CAN see the silver easily. When some people close to me asked why I was spending the money on these expensive x-socks I just took one off,and showed them all the features. Yes on a sock! He was so impressed he bought a pair. Now everytime I buy a pair of x-socks he does to. They are all great and remember the two year warranty!
