X-Socks' innovative Men's Trekking Desert Storm Sock features the patented Interface Sock System; ideal for mountaineering and heavy trekking during intense heat, the unique integrated fine-mesh inner sock directly contacts the skin, significantly reducing friction and rapidly transferring moisture away from your foot. AirConditioning Channels, in conjunction with the Traverse AirFlow Channel system, utilize your movement to keep your feet cooled and bathed in fresh air to prevent blisters and reduce the onset of swelling and fatigue. Vertical-rod ankle padding provides additional support and protection without impeding the airflow around your foot. Instep, heel, toe, and Achilles protectors all buffer your foot from the specific forces generated by trekking over rough uneven terrain. As with all X-Socks, the Trekking Desert Storm sock features an X-Cross bandage that supports and protects the crucial muscles, tendons, and ligaments around your ankle.

These socks are very nice. I've used them once so far and the out performed any other hiking sock I've ever used before. (including merino wool. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
nice sock but sized too small

I bought a pair of these socks to try them out but have been disappointed that the fit was too small on my size large. I have a pair of X-socks Airforce 1 Trekking socks that fit perfectly. I'm not sure if the problem is for the entire Desert Storm style of sock or if I just got a bum pair.

iNCREDILBLE socks! Very very good! I now need less of a sock to do the job. No blister issues, super fast at drying. Sock technology is beyond any other garment. These guys know what they are doing when they make these socks!
Thanks for making my world that much better. Less feet hassles for me!

I am a gearhoung, PERIOD. And I have purchased all of the best gear that money can buy. Its always worth it; every time. When you pay this much for a pair of socks, trust me its worth it! I wear them all the time and they feel so great. And remember, they have a two year warranty. No other sock I know of has the features in this sock. The best!
