Maximize your workouts when you wear the X-Bionic Men’s Energizer Long-Sleeve Shirt. X-Bionic’s 3D-Sphere System technology diffuses your sweat evenly to prevent overcooling while its air-conditioning channel vents carry fresh air through the chest area for consistent temperature regulation. Lateral rib construction at the hip keeps the Energizer from riding up when you’re on the move. Underarm sweat traps enhance evaporation and inhibit sweat pools from forming.

Bottom Line: X-Bionic—beating the cause of the problem before it starts.

I'm a goalkeeper for soccer and I study sport science, so naturally when I was shown the videos showcasing this product, I was curious about it. Does anyone know the DURABILITY of this shirt? My two main concerns are:
1. How the vents/microtubules in the underarm/armpit regions will hold up to me diving down on my sides repeatedly (2 training sessions and 1 match per week). Is this going to compromise the effectiveness of these structures or are they built to withstand such abuse/contact? While I'm on this topic, I do also catch hard shots into my chest. I'd also, therefore, be concerned with the vents on the chest.
2.The actual material it is made of. As I get down to the ground and catch a ball, the bottom of my forearms often are where I land on and drag against the ground coming forward. I've ripped through countless Under Armour and other base layer/second skin-type material and am currently using a no-name top that seems to be doing the job.

Thanks for any help.

I was just wondering if this shirt would be a good undershirt for hockey? The arenas that we play in range from hot to very cold

This would be a great piece to wear in conditions that vary from hot to cold. The compression will help with performance as well. No smell like the rest of the hockey gear!

Had if for a month. Used it as base layer for snowboarding as well as recovery shirt from other sports such as running and tennis. Overall very satisfied. Does seems to stretch a bit after a few days of wear without going to the wash. Sizing is not great but if you fit in between the products categories then fantastic. CWX would be better alterantive, tho.

So you know. X-Bionic does say that you need to wash the fabric after wear. Sweat is acidic and ruins any fabric. X-Bionic fabric is designed with a special structure to USE your sweat in the fabric and not washing it will cause the fabric to break down.

X-Bionic's website answers your question. They have more than just the Energizer fabric - they do have a fabric (Fennec) that reflects the son's rays. See their website at https://www.shopx-bionic.com/index.php/qaa

This product is amazing. I use it both inside and outdoors, and is seems to adapt to a wide range of temperatures. In adittion it looks cool, and feels awesome. The price is a bit on the steep side, but I think its worth it.

i would like to buy an X-bionic shirt, but i don't know which

i would like to buy an X-bionic shirt, but i don't know which one to get, i would use it mainly for under 30 degree running, and football in very cold weather... which product (of any product including non x-bionic) would be the best one for me?

For your application... we suggest you use the Energizer Top. The Accumulator top may be too hot (if that makes sense). The X Bionic is sweet as you can wear it for multiple days in a row and it feels the same everytime and it won't smell.

OK, for all you work out freak out there who are looking for a shirt that does all it says it does...up to a point. I used it to work out in my hot and humid Texas garage when the temperature was over ninety degrees in the garage. I sweated bullets and the shirt would smell like I just took it out of the wash. No smell at all...
Here it is about a year later and I have officially retired it. I get it out of the wash nice and clean and after wearing it for only a minute without even working out it starts to stink....It's almost like it was memorising all my workouts and is bringing out the smells. Weird.....
I couldn't handle my own stench so it's officially retired.
It worked good when it was new. Think twice before blowing your money on this....

I agree, it does smell after a year of (improper use) I had two pairs of shirts, one that I worked out heavily in (sweated a lot) and one that I skiid in. The one where I worked out heavily in I washed after every use, religously. The one I skiid in and didn't sweat as much would go without washing after every use. The end result, the one that got washed regularly doesn't smell while the one that didn't get washed does.
Don't think twice about spending (Blowing - Are you kidding me?) your money on X-Bionic Gear, it is the best, go to their website for more information, but there is no comparison to how X-Bionic performs.

This would cook you. Better would be a very lightweight long sleeve light colored dress shirt (with a collar) sized very loosely.
I prefer a polyester one so when you go inside the sweat won't chill you as much.

I just wash it in cold water in the washing machine with like colors and hang or lay flat to dry. That works pretty well. And yes, you can wear clothes over these.
