    Blaze new trail.

The WTB 27.5 Plus Trail Blazer TCS Light FR Tire features a nearly continuous centerline for smooth speed surrounded by square knobs for traction in dry to damp trail conditions. Built to tackle everything from summer bikepacking adventures in the wilderness to carving your favorite local trails, this tire is ready to play in the dirt, sand, mud, and snow.

The Trail Blazer features WTB's Tubeless Compatible System (TCS) bead for easy, reliable seating along with excellent flat protection when paired with TCS sealant. A lightweight, protective casing topped with a fast-rolling Dual DNA compound provides compliant durability and grip for many a day on the trails. Medium knob spacing makes for ample traction in both dry and damp conditions, with the squared knob shape providing extra grip in corners and tricky cambers.

    Soft Side Walls

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The first thing I noticed about the trail blazer tire was how much pressure I had to run just in order to prevent the sidewalls from wrinkling under my weight. I was running 10 PSI more than what I was running in comparable tires from other manufacturers. Combine that with tearing the sidewalls within the first week of riding and I think you get a tire that does not stand up to situations that plus tires should excel at.

    Great grip, watch your sidewalls

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had these for a summer and love them. The only downside I have run into is that the sides are wearing out faster than the tread. This is probably poor riding and wider tires that make me scrape too many rocks.

    A 2.8" tire that's not even 2.4"

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I mounted these up on a set of I9 Trail wheels. Couldn't believe my eyes. I said to my buddy "these look the same as my Conti 2.4 tires!" And guess what? They are. Pulled out the calipers and everything. What's up with the BS marketing WTB? Now I have to pay to return ship your lies.

    A 2.8" tire that's not even 2.4"

You (and Competitive Cyclist) have not mounted them to the proper rim. Industry Nine Trail wheels have an internal width of 24.5. That rim is too narrow for these tires. They would need at least a 30mm internal but most plus rims are 35 to 50mm. I believe these tires even have writing on the sidewalls that designate rim size requirements.

Can you tell me if this would fit on a 27.5 Giant Anthem - not sure about the clearance
