Description

Versatile performance for surfing waves at the ocean or cruising flat water inland.

Equally at home in the ocean or on your local lake, the Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100 Kayak is a sit-on-top that'll lead you to fun. The versatile hull shape travels straight and fast across sections of flat water and helps you dive right into the sweet spot of the surf. Hop aboard the luxurious seating, secure a snack and a towel in the small bow hatch, and paddle anywhere your arms will take you.

  • Polyethylene hull is highly durable and resistant to warping
  • Hull width flares prominently at the cockpit and tapers off gradually toward the stern to provide storage and cockpit space on the deck and stability on the water
  • Tapered bow and little-to-no rocker from bow to stern allows this boat to track straight and fast through waves and across flat water
  • Hard chine line defines the edge just below the cockpit—this design allows you to take advantage of the massive secondary stability and tip this boat on edge when turning (without going over)
  • Phase 3 AirPro Seating is fully adjustable, quick-drying, and designed to provide an extra-comfortable boating experience
  • SlideLock Foot Brace system gives you a pair of pedals to rest your feet on, and the pedals slide along a rail system that's adjustable to fit a variety of leg lengths
  • Bow hatch has a locking cover and provides limited storage for small essentials and gear
  • Bow tankwell provides wet storage for your lightweight anchor, dock line, or drybag
  • Comfort carry handles give you a secure hand-hold when you're loading and unloading this boat from the water
  • Self-bailing scupper holes allow water to drain away just as soon as it hits the deck

Purchased after many hours of researching.Well it's a little gem. Really impressed with tracking, stability and has good speed in flat water into or with current. Where it shines for me is in the ocean. Took it out in 4-5 foot swell in strong wind and it easily handled the conditions, with great stability. Felt really comfortable.Surprised it "surfed" so well as some reviews said it was lacking in this area. For me it looks like being a very versatile yak. Oh, the seat! Yep - super comfortable
