Good quickdraw for the price
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've had 15 of these for about a year and a half. If you do a price per draw comparison to other draws, it's hard to find a better deal. Recently I've had one biner that the gate sticks open, but they also sell the biners by themselves so it can be replaced.
Nice and light, easy to clip
Have 10 of these bad boys on my rack, and don't have a thing to complain about. Maybe it's a technique issue, but there are some draws out there (BD models come to mind) that will catch my finger when I push the rope through... Not so with Wild-Wires! As a bonus, none of my partners use Wild Country gear, so they have a hard time sneaking off with my draws.
Great wire gate draws
These are excellent draws. The gate shape and action make them easy to clip. Dyneema runner keeps things light. The Wild Country Wild-wire carabiners are the hidden gem of the biner world. They're pretty light and work great, but don't get noticed much.
Great draws! They are nice and lightweight and clip really well. There is not much else to say about them. They do exactly what they should for a great price and lightweight. Also I have not had a problem with any twisting or rotating biners. I wasn't too sure about the wire gates and dyneema sling when I ordered them, I tend to like more substantial feeling gear. I have taken numerous falls on these and don't even think about it anymore. Really solid, I will be ordering more for sure.
Keep wanting more
These draws are probably the best bang for your buck you can get out there. They are super light, affordable, easy to clip and rack. Some times the silver 'biner gets flipped around but it is no big deal if you are used to it and can properly avoid it. I use them for trad and sport and I have no complaints, I even get compliments from some old timers at how good they look!
