I've got a few of each of the main brands of wires in my rack, but I still find these work best.

The only problem I have with them is that the really big sizes (12-14) sit a bit too well in good placements. It think it's because there's a bit more flex in sides of the nut, and I do tend to really yank these things into place.

As a result they can be a real pain to get out. So if you're climbing with a partner who's not great at teasing out passive pro, you might want to be a bit careful placing those big boys.

Still, it says a lot that the biggest issue have with these is that they sit too well!

stoppers are judged. At least by me. I really like this stopper's shape. Copied but made shorter (not better) but another company but made them shorter. A couple sets of stoppers will get you up most any granite. Some of the most and best loved passive used pro around.

first of all, the product for the price is amazing. the only way i can think to review this product is in comparison to another. i own a rack of the wild countries and a rack of BD stoppers and there are a few subtle differences that i believe have made the Rocks a more versatile piece. the are designed longer (taller) than the BDs so they fit into gradual constrictions while offering a lot more surface area coverage. the rocks also have a slightly higher strength rating than the Smaller Stoppers and i noticed that the smaller load bearing size of rock is slightly smaller than the smaller stopper, maybe not ann everyday difference but huge when placing pinscar dihedrals and such, cool product.

these have always been one of my favorite no frills nuts. now they've been tumbled longer making them easier to place, and come color coded. hard to go wrong.
