A freewheel is not a freewheel is not a freewheel. The White Industries ENO Freewheel is not some stamped and plated thing, but a CNC machined work of art. It has chromoly steel teeth with a sealed cartridge bearing on the inside to ensure long life. In fact, if you're used to running lesser freewheels and setting your clock by the regularity with which they explode, the Eno will be a pleasant surprise.
White Industries builds the Eno Freewheel with 36 engagement points via a three-pawl mechanism. They're perfect for single-speeding in tough, technical terrain as a forward pedal stroke under full power is never more than just a few degrees away. The ultra-quick engagement and flawless construction make this one sweet, high-tech freewheel. The Eno Freewheel is right-hand threaded for English 1.37"x 24tpi hubs. It works with either 1/8" or the derailleur-friendly 3/32" chain. It's available in three tooth counts -- 16t, 17t, 18t.
