Inspired by snowboarding's most coveted terrain, Weston crafted the Japow Snowboard for seasons of surfing frozen waves of powder. This board delivers all the tools necessary to lay clean long carves and controlled turns on everything from early morning runs to the deepest day of our season. The key to this supreme edge-to-edge control is the directional shape, tapered nose, and swallowtail that work together to sink the tail and raise the nose in powder. On firm snow, this shape eases turn initiation while the tapered tail drives even more power to our engaged edge, inspiring additional confidence. The profile balances power and float in powder by combining a powerful camber section underfoot, a flat tail, and rocker out to the tip.

10/10 board! I’ve loved this board since it first came out many years ago. And have ridden it for almost 10 seasons straight. Not my daily driver but my ultimate powder slayer. Any big pow days where I know I’m gonna be working for it on any other board I grab this G.O.A.T. Absolute trench digger, saves your legs, holds an edge to where you are carving up hill, floats like an actual boat, conversation starter/head turner in the lift lines, nearly impossible to tomahawk on, the list goes on. Get you one… or two!

Rode this board on a 3 month tour of Hokkaido and could not be more stoked on my purchase! The japow floats effortlessly in the deep pow and has a great surfy feel to it. . Super fun, playful, nimble board. Would absolutely recommend in a split or solid depending on what you need it for.

Dang I love this thing. Can't believe a waited so long to get a swallowtail. Turn out the original snowboard designers knew what they were doing haha. This board floats effortlessly in deep pow. No more nose diving or leg fatigue. I can ride all day again and I even lean forward on this board in deep snow. Such a game-changer. I originally had a 159 at 175 lbs, but I've gained a lot of weight in the past couple of years so the 164 is what I just got, and really like the added float. It's also a head-turner in the lift line haha. The board is actually really fun on groomers too surprisingly. Very impressed at how it carves. If you aren't trying to make it to the x-games anymore and just want a board that gives you every leg up in powder, the JAPOW is the board for you. I still ride my twin shapes on most days on the resort if it's just riding groomers, but if it snows more than a few inches, this is the ONLY board I'm taking out. Highly recommend.
