It's the age old question on winter camping, cold weather backpacking, or climbing trips—do you take a warm, comfortable sleeping bag that's heavy and doesn't compress very well, or a lighter bag and sacrifice comfort. Weighing only 3lb 2oz and providing an outstanding 8inches of loft, the Lynx Super MF Sleeping bag solves the problem. The Lynx sleeping bag's microfiber material not only reduces the bag's weight by 10-20% compared to regular nylon shells, it has a super high thread count, so the fabric naturally resists wind, water and moisture without a separate coating or laminate. No coating or laminate means increased durability and breathability, so 10 years down the road you can expect your Lynx bag to perform as well as did the first time out. Western mountaineering stuffed this winter sleeping bag with ultra light, ultra compressible premium 850 fill down, which helps explains its ability to keep you warm down to 10 below, without weighing you down on the trail or taking up all of the space in your pack. A full length draft tube and overstuffed draft collar help seal in heat for even more light-weight warmth.

Bottom Line: Pack the Western Mountaineering Lynx Super MF Sleeping Bag to sleep warm and travel light.
