Taking its name from a coastal village in Southeastern Alaska, the Westcomb Men's Sitka Hooded Down Jacket keeps you toasty-warm when nasty low-pressure systems and frigid Arctic fronts barrel down on your locale this winter season. Packing an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio, the Sitka features premium 900-fill down insulation sourced from Polish waterfowl, which is recognized as some of the most premium down insulation available. Comfort rated down to 5-degrees Fahrenheit, the Sitka is a lightweight, highly packable jacket that's ideal for skiing and snowboarding, as well as alpine and expedition use.
Along the jacket's shell, Pertex Quantum offers an incredibly fine-woven construction to shed outside moisture, block heat-robbing winds, and prevent down insulation from migrating (i.e., it's downproof). Plus, its DWR treatment offers extra water-resistance, keeping light rain and snow from compromising the down's heat-trapping loft. Other key features include a YKK 2-way Vislon zipper, elastic-bound waist for a great fit, and attached hood for extra coverage in stormy weather. Moreover, you'll find an internal media pocket for seamlessly routing your favorite tunes, as well as zippered hand pockets.
