Pemberton Down Parka - Men's

Wear this jacket when your winter plans include a trip to an arctic research station, taking a walk through a wind-blasted Canadian prairie, or spending a considerable amount of time huddled over a hole on a frozen lake waiting for a fish to take your bait. Westcomb filled the Pemberton Parka with 900-fill Canadian Hutterite down to stand up to the worst cold you can think of, and sealed the package off with a Schoeller C_Change membrane for wet weather protection. Hutterite down comes only from mature geese, which provides a level higher-loft, and is more durable than standard down. A stowaway hood keeps this jacket looking good when you have to run into town re-stock your backwoods cabin's booze supply, while the velour-lined chin-guard provides some welcome relief for your weather-beaten face. Fully taped seams prevent any moisture from working into that top-shelf down, and a classic parka look keeps its class intact when you're hobnobbing in Anchorage, Whistler, or Jackson.
