Westcomb designed the Men's Mirage all-mountain hardshell pants for days when the snow is deep and you are lucky enough to be skiing it.Waterproof, breathable eVent fabric keeps you dry on the hike up and the ski down. This technical fabric breathes like your skin by venting moisture out through a porous membrane. These abrasion-resistant pants have articulated knees and a roomy fit for unrestricted movement.

The mirage pants are tough, light and breathe ridiculously well. They also have huge leg zip vents for uber-octane activity but I haven't needed to use them yet. They are awesome for any alpine or wet weather adventures and have an ski/crampon abrasion pads on the inner ankle area. However, these DO NOT have any pockets and the sizing runs a little small compared to other brands (fairly comparable to Arc-T sizing though).

I wear these for split-touring - they're super light, super breathable, and super waterproof. With the mirage jacket, they're a perfect bc setup for me. Long outside thigh vents help cool you off fast. I like that they have no pockets - most pants have way too many.

The pants are great functionally, but there are 2 problems. There are no pockets and the waist band is disproportionately tight.

Excellent pants. Waterproof; bulletproff; lightweight. Best suited for early/late season touring. Almost worthy of 5*****. In fact, wold have received that rating, except there are no pockets. I like these a bit more than Minuteman pants.
