    Werner's workhorse.

You've probably seen Werner's Sherpa Carbon Paddle in the roughest whitewater videos getting tossed off waterfalls and driving down some of the hardest lines ever cleaned. Carbon blades give this paddle the lightest swing weight in Werner's collection, and the fiberglass shaft has the highest level of strength. The asymmetric blades have pronounced tips for power and dihedral cross-sections for a smoother stroke.

    Bomber paddle

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use this paddle on a daily basis for river running, creeking, and playboating once in awhile. The blade shape is perfect for maximizing power per stroke. The mid-sized blade is good for mid-sized paddlers and use for the occasional playboating.

I've wedged this paddle between rocks, smacked it against cliff walls, and let it ride under a pile of gear in the back of a truck on the way to the put in. It's super durable and I trust it to not break when I need it most.

Also, small shaft is really nice!!
