Why We Like The Powerhouse Carbon Paddle

Get swallowed by massive holes with Werner's Straight Shaft Powerhouse Carbon Paddle pulling you back to the surface. Werner designed the Powerhouse Carbon to take on the hardest runs out there, so you can fire your hardest line yet with all the power you need. Its full-sized blades feature a strong and lightweight carbon fiber construction with slight asymmetry for smooth and stable forward paddling, and Werner made the paddle's straight shaft out of fiberglass for a phenomenal strength-to-weight ratio. Tear up coastal rock gardens, local whitewater, or just paddle down the creek with friends in steadfast comfort.

Good paddle

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've run up to maybe class IV-/IV with it over the past couple years. Gotten trashed several times. It's wearing very well, hit it on plenty of rocks and it has not lost much material. Feels solid. I throw pogies where I want my hands and add nylon tape on one side so I can tell better if I'm getting un-centered. Also, fun fact, cloth tape leaves a nice sticky residue that helps with grip even after you're no longer using it as a bandage
