If you're camping in bear country, you'd better keep your food in the Watchful Eye Designs O.P. Sak Barrier Bag. While other bear boxes and bags just keep animals from getting to your food, critters big and small can still smell it and can still end up wreaking havoc on your camp. The O.P. (Odor Proof) Sak lets no yummy bacon or freeze-dried spinach aroma escape at all. During testing, bears would walk right past O.P. Saks loaded with food without so much as a glance. These bags are also waterproof and prevent condensation so your food won't get stale or moldy. O.P. Saks come in sizes small enough for a couple candy bars and big enough for a few days of food.

Bottom Line: Do not feed the animals.

Water and sand protection

These bags have a great patent on them for being leakproof and have some sort of natural suction that makes them air locking on themselves- pretty cool. For me, they were recommended for wet/dry canyoneering- and they're perfect for that. They are leakproof (and sandproof too- great for protecting electronics in the sandy deserts that destroy everything). They don't like high heat though- I brought these out on a trip in 110 degree heat, and they melted shut. Bummer. I'd totally recommend them, except for use in high summer heat.

beats a Ziplock

Well they are expensive compared to a Ziplock but they last and really keep things dry. I was skeptical when a friend told me about these but he was right, it’s worth it.
