Description

The Vredestein Fiammante Duo Comp Tire is your high-mileage solution to all the rubber you burn through.

You put miles and miles into your training –and if there was a measurement longer than a mile, you’d put that in too. The Vredestein Fiammante Duo Comp Tire is your high-mileage solution to all the rubber you burn through. The Fiammante features soft rubber on the sides for the kind of handling you expect from your tires, but also utilizes a harder compound down the center for maximum durability and puncture-resistance.

What is the PSI max?

The recommended range is 95-130psi. But it mostly depends on your wheel. I'd be willing to bet that your wheel will blow up before this tire does!

impressive and inexpensive

I am not a mega racer but do crank it up a lot and these have lasted for about 2000 mi and show minimal wear......only one flat and I am not sure how that little pin prick got in there to give the flat......hmmmm....but stiil like 'em especially for $35 with dual compund for straight and turn

Vredestein is making me a believer

These Duo Comp's are working out well. At 210lbs. I tend to make up lost time by pushing my Giant TCR on twisty down hill runs. On this day the road was wet and those Fiammante's delivered the traction. I was impressed after just coming off two sets of Bontrager Race Lite Hard Case's. At 300g's for the 700/23's, the Duo Comp's are not the lightest tyre out there but puncture protection is important to me and they are holding up well as a semi fast and durable recreational tyre. At almost half the price of the racier Fortezza Tricomp, these tyres will run just fine with group pace speeds up to 22 mph. Faster advanced riders/racers will want the Tricomp's with the higher price tag. Always remember with any tyre to do your braking before the corner. Roadracer 101
