- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These were initially purchased because they stood out from the competition solely based on their fun color (purple) and affordable price. I tried them out last weekend and in addition to receiving many compliments, they also performed well on the slopes.
Skylab in black/gold chrome
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Really good little goggle for the money. They arent super over size like some of the goggles out there today (Canopies, I/OX etc) so if you dont want to look like a fighter pilot something like the Skylab will suit you. They have a narrowish fit so if you have a big head / face they may look a bit odd but for most people they should fit fairly well. The lenses provided a pretty good field of view as well. Not as good as good as your really oversized gogs but really didnt have any complaints. My girlfriend has now stolen them off me and loves them too. The lens changing is really easy too which is a plus!
Would definitely recommend if you're not wanting to spend heaps on a pair of goggles and these'll do the trick just fine!
Good sized goggle. Fits on my face better than vonzipper beefy. Nice field of vision with this lens.
Baby Brother's All Grown Up
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
The Skylab is essentially the smaller version of the Fishbowl, but once it's on your face and you see the ridiculously big field of vision, you'll barely notice. The Fishbowl definitely has more height, but I thought the peripheral view was about the same. If you have a medium to small face and the Fishbowl is just a little to big for you, the Skylab will be perfect.
Great goggle for anyone
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
The Skylab is basically the Fishbowls little brother. It is a great fitting goggle for small to medium faces, but don't let that fool you. The Skylab will fit just about anyone. I've seen it on men, women, kids, wookies etc. It is just a killer goggle for every face size and shape. Fits great with a helmet and won't break your bank. Some of them come with a YELLOW bonus lens too.

Sick Skylab Goggles
I love the look of the Fishbowl goggles but they are too large for my face, when I saw these SkyLab's I'm jumped on the good deal. These are great, they are smaller then the Fishbowl goggles and fit my medium face very well. The wide spherical view is amazing! These goggles are helmet compatible and the price is un-beatable for the quality.
I'm still on the hunt for the perfect goggle... I have a face that's too big for most women's-specific goggles but often too small for the big men's ones. Usually the ones that say "medium" in men's fit well, but I'm trying to find something that will both fit my face AND give me a lot of peripheral vision. For reference, I loooove the fit of the Anon Hawkeye goggle, but I wish they were more spherical and had a wider range of view!
