Go Big

Love the hugeness of these lenses, gives a great field of view when ducking through tight trees. Have used them for 2 full seasons and have never fogged, zero scratches. Great visibility in all lighting conditions, from bluebird supersun to late day snowstorm. They are definitely large and in charge, but still fit well with a helmet (I use a boeri).

Nice view, but it's a little breezy

The Fishbowl keeps the frame almost completely out of my vision. The top and sides disappear, while the bit over the bridge of my nose is just as visible as it was on my EG1S. The frame is more flexible than average, bending easily to fit my face. They seem to have much higher airflow than most, and sometimes it gets pretty windy against my eyeballs which is uncomfortable. But they've never fogged so I guess it works!

Only goggles I'll ever buy

Great goggles. Feel like you're not even wearing anything. lens is great for all types of conditions.I had a pair of Smith IO's and these fishbowls make them feel like a pile a junk. if you're looking for a stylish durable goggle these are what you want. Only place to get snow gear is dogfunk unbeatable in customer service, and there return policy is unparalleled by any other company.

Love em

These googles have the best peripheral versions of most the the googles out this year. I bought 5 different pairs along with these thanks to backcountry.com amazing return policy. Reason I did that was to compare them side by side to see which ones have the best peripheral vision and gotta say that a lot of goggles have great top and side to side field of view but the bottom part by the nose and cheek area was always blocked at least for me. Which sucks because I feel like that one of the most important areas when trying to spot your landings or going into jumps. Or in the backcountry watching for the scatchy areas. These glasses due just that I forget I have them on at times. Along with the interchangeable lens these goggles rock highly recommend pick em up you won't regret it

Now that I got these with fire chrome, I wanna get some nice replacement lenses for overcast conditions. Any recommendations? The I'm between Quasar Chrome and Yellow Chrome

Responded on

I live in Colorado where it is overcast one minute and sunny the next and I ride the Fishbowl with Quasar Chrome lenses about 70% of the time. It is a nice olive based lens that works really well variable conditions. I use the Yellow Chrome when it is dumping out. It has exceptional vision in snowy conditions.

sick

I tried on all the oversized goggles in the store and these seem to be the most comfortable. I don't even think they're that big.

Such a sick goggle.

A game changer in visibility. The only downside is the size of the goggle but I'm real particular about things too. Quicksilver hubble offers the same vision profile with a lower profile. But as you can see, this goggle certainly isn't limiting me.

Such a sick goggle.

Get Em!!

Hands down the best goggles out there. I have tried smith, Electric, and Dragon and none of the goggles are even close to as comfortable as the fishbowls.

Fishbowl

This are sick and MASSIVE! I always wear a helmet and i think they fit pretty good together but they go a little low on my nose so its a little hard to breathe but i knew this before i got them and took a chance. I wouldn't change them for anything and they also haven't fogged up ever. i just wish i could find a clear lens

Love these

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

If you're looking for a larger goggle with lots of vision these are what you want. If you want to not see frame at all, get the EG2. I liked the band on these more but still use my EG2 for nights and times I need more peripheral vision

I've ridden the Fishbowls for the last three years and I currently have the Pro-Tec B2 Snow helmet. They fit great. I've also ridden them with the Smith Maze, and a few Red helmets too. I'd avoid helmets with brims on them as the Fishbowl is a pretty big goggle.

I have a Bern Baker helmet with visor, the two are not compatible.

Others have said they had no issues with their helmets. I'll be shopping for a new helmet soon.

VZ Fishbowl

Finally received White Satin/Fire Chrome.
My eyes are VERY VISIBLE even though what I wanted and was expecting "mirror/can't see through" kind of goggles(lens).
Except that, the goggle is very big, good for my head size(XXL)
----
(Somehow on the picture I took, the lens looks very "mirror" like but it is not...wth..lls")

OHHH another thing! My friend has a Electric EG2 and not because I have VZ fishbowl but since I saw, wore both of em, I personally like VZ fishbowl better.

I find the lens to be almost impossible to see my eyes when on the snow or outdoors. When you are indoors you can kind of see the eyes, but not much. Try going outside and snapping a photo.

Responded on

yo jung, you look whack in that picture and the electric EG2s are wayyyy sicker than these. LOLOL

lols shut up Daniel! let go again next saturday.

Brad: oh really? do you have the same exact lens?

Will the fishbowl goggle suit glasses as well as helmet wearing?

Responded on

It really depends on the eyeglasses. The Fishbowls are not meant to be an over the glass goggle, but I have fitted customers that have slimmer plastic eyeglasses or slim metal eyeglasses. Give em a shot. They are the best goggles I've ever had.

Color Blok Orange=sick

Just recieved the "Color Blok Orange" Look sick as hell, came with a free yellow lense and I ordered an extra "Fire Chrome" lense too. Look amazing, great if you got a big face. Also, Color Blok looks like more of a flat/burnt orange in the picture, no way, bright neon orange in real life, couldn't be happier. Can't wait to try em' out on Mt. Fuji
