VonZipper Feenom Goggle w/ Bonus Lens - 2010 BCS

Great goggles with great anti fog, extra lense for sunnier days and original lens for bliZzard conditions, comfortable as ever with a look that turns heads

I liked these, but they fog up really easily on warmer days, if I ever started sweating they would get a little foggy. I scratched the lens as a result of trying to clear the fog so frequently. Next time I will get some goggles that match the helmet, they just didn't fit that well with my RED branded helmet.

Very nice fit and grate visibility, but lenses are hard to find!

I want to buy replacement lenses but all around world, dealers have little to offer.

They are all sold out and the Vonzipper homepage cant address any dealers.

I thought this would be a convertible system that had may options to offer. But at the present situation the Feenom goggles is a fixed goggles.

Vonzipper, please increase the the production of snow goggles replacement lenses!

First, let me say thanks to backcountry for the amazing return policy. I was really stoked about these goggles at the beginning of the season. The quality and construction is great, they look great and the optics are very good (although the red chrome lenses seemed darker than other similar lenses I have tried). However, they have two major problems in my eyes. They were a 1 star for me, but I gave them 3 stars for the quality construction and free extra lense.

1. These don't work with a helmet. Maybe if you have some jibberish helmet they will work, I don't know, but with my Smith Variant they were getting pushed down on my nose, were uncomfortable, and looked awkward. I have a pretty big face too . . . I hated having a pair of goggles I wanted to wear but knew I couldn't with my helmet. I don't need anymore motivation to not wear a helmet.

2. High Maintence: I have rocked the Smith Alias/Motive for years and always feel like I can put them on a forget about them. With the Feenom that wasn't the case. I had to be very careful to keep them on so that they wouldn't fog up. They were very testy as far as fogging, which is a major hastle. I also found that the red chrome lense worked very poorly in flatter light. I appreciate that they include two lenses and the blue clear lense is very nice. However, it sucks to start out on a sunny day with the chrome lense and have the weather change and not be able to use your goggles at all. With other chrome lenses, including the Scott Red Chrome lense, I find they do just fine in flatter light. Not ideal of course, but more than useable.

I am sad to have not liked these. I really wanted to. But I have enough to think about dealing with testy ski boots and I don't want the same from my goggle. That they won't work with a helmet and fogged more than others I have used put me over the edge with these . . .

Seriously just the best fitting, most comfortable, and most kickass looking goggles on the market. I searched around forever and these are by far the best out there!!!!

I like the look and the feel of the frames. Condensation inbetween lenses drives me insane. The clasps on the straps do not hold, they slide. I've tried Spy, Dragon and now Von Zipper. Im going back to Smiths

I ride with a helmet, and I really believe that bigger is better with goggles because field of view is so important. These have the max amount of vision for a goggle that fits great with a helmet (some people can pull of EG2 with helmet, but I don't want my nose crushed). I got the White and Gold band, with Gold Mirror lens. The gold mirror lens is great for mid level light to bright light, and the bonus lens is the nightstalker blue, which is perfect for night riding and low light situations. Basically this 2 lens package is all around killer. The only issue I have is that the inside of the goggles gets soft when its wet, and can almost distort a little. Not sure if there is a way around this, but its can be a hassle. As for fogging I haven't had many issues, and I sweat a lot when I am ripping hard. Any goggle will fog in certain situations (face mask, overly sweaty on warm day, going from outside to inside a warm room) these are just properties of physics and cannot be avoided, so please disreguard most comments about goggles fogging up when they get sweaty or warm. I ride 100+ days a year and I know that most of those comments come from recreational users. Anyway this is a legit goggle, great periph, and you'll look like a boss with that big ole mirror shinin in the sun.
