Push your game with the Volkl Ledge Alpine Ski.

The Volkl Ledge Alpine Ski gives park and pipe athletes the tools to progress. This park and pipe weapon's Dual Layer core puts lighter weight wood on the bottom half of the ski to decrease weight and provide a smooth, round flex. The result is a ski that will help you pull that last half rotation on the 720, and pull out the landing if you're a little in the backseat or under or over rotated. Printed vertical sidewalls look sweet, and a full armed edge (the edges are anchored to the Volkl logos in the middle of the ski) provides bomber durability for hitting rails.

hey i have twin tips now. trouble makers 158cm. im 5' 7" can do boxes and starting to do some rails.. hit kickers. wondering if the 168 volkls would be okay..

Responded on

Yes, the length is good for you, but I am not sure if you really want the Volkl Ledge. I would say the Dynastarr Troublemakers are better. But if you want to buy new skis becuase of the length and really want these your welcome. Otherwise, I'd look for something different.

I'm 5'7" & 145 lbs as an intermediate ski whose comfortable going down Colorado's mountains. would you recommend these ski's? Also are 168's sufficient?

Responded on

I would say the 168 is going to be a good size for you in this ski, but if you want better soft snow performance (powder), you should look at something wider.

Assuming you're not a pro in the park scene and that's what you'll use them for? Go with the 158's. Hurry before they sell out and you're stuck with the 168's.
