Because rain is wetter than snow.

The Volcom Men's Rain Gore-Tex Overall Pant handles spring's slushy wetness, so you know you can rely on it for winter's snowiest days. Gore-Tex gives this two-layer shell reliable waterproof, breathable protection from the chest down, and fully taped seams enhance waterproofing by preventing a single snowflake (or raindrop) from seeping through. Volcom's V-Science breathable lining system makes sure you get that much-needed breathability whether you're skinning backcountry steeps or hiking the terrain park.

Volcom's Guide Proven Technology fits the Rain with a relaxed style that stays straight through the leg, and an articulated design makes sure you can hike, skin, and board with unrestricted mobility. There are mesh linings inside each vent so snow doesn't sneak in when you're having a breather, and the boot gaiters stretch over for a secure fit. Volcom's Zip-Tech attaches to compatible ski jackets for complete coverage, and there are adjustments inside the waist for a secure fit.

    Bib Life

Great set of bibs for resort or backcountry riding. Bibs are great because they keep the snow out and just make life easy. The 2L gore-tex is a great feature, just enough waterproofing for most conditions while maintaining some breathability. My guess is that these may be too warm for spring touring, but besides that these are a no-brainer when heading to the mountain. Large were a perfect fit for me.

These bibs are awesome, Since they changed these last season over to gore-tex from their own membrane a couple years back they have been amazing and with the addition of the reinforced cuff like what is featured on the guide pants these keep getting better !

The fit is awesome, I am 6'0 and 170 pounds , I wear the larges and they are not to baggy

Bibs Are Not Only For Baby's

I have always loved bibs over a traditional pair of snow pants as well Volcom's snow apparel. These bad boys are incredibly breathable and keep you dry when split-boarding and handle heavy snow/light rain etc great. I have always worn my snow gear a bit larger and went with an XL which fits pretty loose but comfortable for me. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a solid pair of Gore-tex bibs.

    Bib-lically righteous!

After getting these a month ago they've become my go to outerwear on everything from powder days to spring temps! They fit well and keep snow out of my butt, win win.

    Bibs rock!!

Gave a set of bibs as a Christmas gift they loved them so much I couldn't resist. I am a huge fan of the Volcom zip tech and Volcom in general. Am excited to take split board missions, deep pow days keeping the pow where it should be outside, or even slushy spring park laps the possibilies are endless. I wish that the pockets were either deeper or had a few more but brand bibs have higher price points with similar quality I would imagine I feel these are a great value.

    Great Material and Fit

I have not had the chance to use these bibs yet but I just got them in the mail and they are awesome! I spent a lot of time researching bibs and for the money these are the best bang for your buck. Gore-Tex is a must have for all my gear. I am 6'2 and 185lbs and the XL fits great. The length is perfect, if you are a taller&slimmer guy like myself then this is the bib for you. Enough room to layer underneath as you would like. Can't wait to put these pants to the test in Big Sky, Montana and Park City, Utah!

Once you go bibs you never go back!

Truly a game changer for anyone that spends a great deal of time in their outerwear. Great fit, with uncompromising movement, and zero restriction whether you split board, ride snow mobiles, or just want to ride the resort and some side country. Also, with the coverage of the bib up top, and Zip Tech, Volcom's pant and jacket interface, no snow is getting in! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you live in your outerwear!

Could you please help me with the decision? I'm looking for snowboard bib pants and have 4 variants to choose:
    1. Volcom Rain Gore-Tex
    2. Burton Buckshot Bib
    3. Volcom Roan Overall
    4. DC Men's Clash Bib Pant
I really like first one, but not sure if it will be too hot?
Hope u can help me with the decision :) Thanks!
