Great base lalyer

Lost my dakine base pants, so figured I would pick up a new pair. My Volcom snowboard jacket and pants are quality, so figured I would give these a try. Fit seems true to size, i'm small in everything else (30-32 waist), and small fit me perfectly. I could have probably went with medium if i wanted it more bulky like pajama pants or something. Looks cool. Warm and comfortable!! That is all..

A day ender for me is sitting on the chairlift on a brutally cold day while my body heat escapes out of my shoulders, and my knees creak with cold. You know the feeling. So last year, I upgraded my base layers to the insulated TDS Riding Crew and bottom -- SOOOOO GOOOOD.

I'm a 32 waist and the medium bottoms fit well. The targeted, low bulk insulation panels really pack a ton of heating power. There's no insulation in places where it tends to get bulky. There is mesh in the crotch for venting. I wear slim outerwear and I don't have too much room under my pants, so this was the way to go for me. You'll thank yourself while comfortably kickin it on the chair this winter.
