Allow your feet to flex like they were meant to thanks to the flexible uppers and minimalist soles of the VivoBarefoot Women's Neo Running Shoes. Cushy memory-foam insoles allow these near-barefoot kicks to take on hard pavement, and the reinforced toes fend off hazards on the trail.

  • Water-resistant nylon mesh uppers shed light precipitation and wetness to keep your feet dry, while recycled antibacterial linings fight off funky smells
  • The anatomically neutral 4mm soles are thin enough to allow your feet to naturally flex and just thick enough to provide protection from hazards on the ground
  • As your foot hits the ground, the widened toebox gives your forefoot room to spread to absorb impact and stabilize your stride
  • TPU toe guards protect you from stubbing your toes on the trail
  • Ventilated uppers keep your feet cool inside these feathery-light kicks
  • Rather than relying on glue, these shoes were stitched to lower weight and increase durability and flexibility
  • VivoBarefoot constructed the Neo using recycled and vegan-friendly materials

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

Sometimes I am an 8 1/2, (39) sometimes a size 9 (40); with this shoe 39 was too small and 40 was fine. I selected runs small but I think "runs snug" would be more accurate.

Great everyday & travel shoe

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I wanted to replace my beat-up Merrells, but since I'm planning on wearing these every day to work and not to work out, all of Merrell's current styles & dayglo was a turn off. I think these look really sharp and a lot more toned down. Re: sizing, I'm a pretty true 7.5, the 39 fit me perfect.

These shoes are stiffer and less breathable than my Pace Gloves, I would call them "Sporty Barefoot-ish Lifestyle" shoes, not barefoot runners (at least in comparison to the glove-like, flexible and light Merrell Pace Gloves). My feet got hotter in them, I think they'll be just perfect for cooler days and offer a little more protection than a shoe with a mesh upper. These would also be perfect travel shoes, and I plan to wear them to NYC in a few weeks.

All in all, great little shoes and look a lot better with jeans/casual clothes than a neon runner. I'll still go to Merrell for actual runners/shoes to be active in.

great shoe

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Picked up a couple of these guys for my wife and she loves them. She uses the mainly for running, the weight of them is crazy if you want to feel like you are running with nothing on then these are for you. The only complaint my wife had was the size she is an 8 and the were a bit tight on her other wise a great shoe.

Good but not Great

these were good shoes they need more breathability, since they are considered trail shoes they need to have stiffer soles. They are not worth paying full price for them.
As long as you take care of them they will be good but if your pretty rough with shoes they wont last long

Great lightweight running shoe for easy runs

I'm a beginner runner and love these shoes. Although these shoes feel thin and non supportive, you'll be surprised! These are comfortable and protect your feel from the elements. The toe box is roomy but doesn't allow for slipping. For a lightweight running shoe, these provide great support and balance!
