    Filling in.

By including graphene in its 2016 race tires, Vittoria redefined our expectations of what a tire should feel like on race day. But for every race day, there are several dozen training days, and we aren't willing to chew up our premium start-line gear during early spring base miles on debris-strewn roads. Vittoria's Diamante Pro II Clincher Tire fills that gap.

While it's not quite as supple as the graphene-infused models, the Diamante Pro II would be a race tire if it carried any other brand imprimatur. The nylon casing and added puncture resistance make it resilient enough for the training wheels or the ambitious recreationalist who's more interested in racking up tempo miles than pinning on a number.

    Diamante Pro

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought these on sale to try them out and I like them better than Rubino Pro. I ride NYC, Queens to be exact and they fare well in traffic, asphalt or concrete doesn't matter. one flat in six months is not bad. Corners well and is light and durable. I have four sets as reserve.

    Smooth

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I saw a bunch of mixed reviews on this tire, but I have to say, I think they are super smooth and though likely not too durable, they do the trick for your average low mileage lightweight tire.... and that sale price is too good to pass up!

    weak

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

i normally use rubino pro 25s been through about a dozen or more pairs and wear those down to the cords. tried 4 of the diamantes and 3 have already ruptured at the sidewall in less than a 1000 miles, pretty much in the same area on all three tires right at the end of the tread/beginning of the sidewall. they ride nice but just don't hold up to my abuse

    Flats galore

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

While this tire rides nice and fluid, the set I have has gobbled up the stones and thorns and whatever else the road has to offer and blessed me with 4 flats in my last 5 rides. Since I have installed these tires, I have had a total of 6 flats. Not cool. Just not cool. All road riding. Switching back to the gators.

    Vittoria should be ashamed

I had the 25mm tires on, at 200 miles the bead and sidewall blew out. Pressure was around 110lbs. I have never seen a tired fail like this. I did not hit anything .

      Vittoria should be ashamed

      My favorite tire.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I duscovered these tire a few years back. I have tried other brands, but these fit my ridi g style. They offer both speed and comfort. They are very durable and last over 1k miles of hard riding, in not very friendly pavement. I always keep 8 pair on hand for spares.
