The polyester upper stays snug on your foot with the speed-lace pull n' tighten system. The canvas fabric finish helps this supple shoe sport a rough n' tumble look while shedding water and dirt with ease. A 3mm PU footbed gets wrapped with Dri-Lex so PU only describes the material, not the smell of your shoe. Running off-road means your foot will face insistent rocks and tapered twigs. A mere 4mm of molded 3d Cocoon nylon in the midsole acts as a rock guard to save your sole without taking away the barefoot feel of this minimalist shoe.
Trail running is only fun when you're not moving backwards with every step. The 4mm thick Vibram XS Trek sole is shaped into 360-degree lugs traction over any kind of terrain. When you can't distinguish between the Spridon MR and a mud puddle, throw your footwear in the machine, set the temperature to cold, and with a bit of air drying, you'll have a pair of shoes ready to roll in the mud all over again.
