Fit is everything when it comes to backpacks, so Vaude gave the Asymmetric a body-hugging back panel and adjustable torso length so you can dial in the perfect fit for your frame. The light and flexible hip belt works with the mesh-lined and lightly padded shoulder straps to ensure a breathable, comfortable feel where the pack comes in contact with your back.

The basic design of the Asymmetric consists of a large top loader and an additional front zip access point for those times you need to grab an extra layer when you're between camps. The top lid is equipped with two pockets and is removable when you need a small summit pack. The pack can be compressed from the sides or the top to secure heavy loads, and the adjustable gear loops can be used to carry either trekking poles or ice axes, depending on your objective.
