I chatted with someone from the company about needing warm winter boots that act like sneakers for walking the dog and snowshoeing. These are perfect! Very warm, very flexible, and great traction. The sizing was normal. Get out there and enjoy the snow!

What is the temperature comfort rating for this boot? Would it work for interior alaska?

From a legendary alpine climber & Vasque Rep: "The Woman's Pow Pow is 400 gram thinsulate, plus fleece lining and Ultra Dry W/P membrane- rate it to 20F below- that is subjective of course. It gets way colder in Fairbanks than that, but for a woman's town shoe which is what this is really, it's pretty warm- That said , not many places colder than the interior of Alaska other than the Poles."
