M-Finity Mountaineering Boots - Men's

For steep ice climbs, hard mixed routes, and general winter nastiness, the Vasque M-Finity Mountaineering Boots are at the top of their game. Thanks to waterproof Kevlar uppers and full-length carbon fiber shanks, the M-Finity Mountaineering Boots weigh only 4lb 4oz (size 9) and provide precision control on steep ice. It's hard to climb well when your feet are frozen, so Vasque gave these boots 400g of Thinsulate insulation to keep your feet toasty. When the next pitch calls for precision footwork on thin ice and steep rock, lace up the M-Finity.

Bottom Line: If M9 is a warm up and WI5 is boring, the Vasque M-Finity Boots are definitely for you.

A great boot for the right foot

These Vasque boots are amazing, very lightweight and waterproof and comfortable. Pretty much true to size, I wear a ten and got that size but should have got a 9.5, a hair too big. I do not have wide enough feet for them though, I have an average to narrow foot and my heel slips a bit. If you have a wider foot I would HIGHLY recommend this though. Very warm too.

M-Finity

I have only used these boots a few times, but they have been great. They are very comfortable and fairly easy to walk in. The heel fits nice and snug while there is plenty of room in the toe box. I'm between a size 12 and 13 US shoe size and I went with the 12's and they fit great even with a heavy pair of socks. I was expecting these boots to be a little bit warmer than they are. After sitting for only an hour or so my toes were cold, but not freezing. Overall though I like the boots a lot.

The best light boots I've found

I bought these boots to replace a pair of Scarpa Freneys that were stolen, and I like the M-Finity even better. They're incredibly light and very comfortable. They fit my wide feet well. The cuffs are very soft, which increases precision on techy mixed stuff but wears you out on really long ice pitches. My only complaint is that the plastic part above the heel bail is too short for my Black Diamond crampons to work. I changed over to the Petzl Darts, and they work great.
